For our Provincial Skills Competition we have technical committees who, on a volunteer basis contribute their time and expertise in their particular fields towards facilitating their competition areas. It is recommended that each Technical Committee has representation from education, government, labour and industry. Roles of the Technical Committee's include: - Developing the competition scopes
- Designing the competition project
- Securing required materials and equipment for the competition area
- Developing the judging criteria
- Ensuring the accuracy of the participant's scores
- Setting-up, administering and tearing-down competition sites
