The purpose of this committee is to allow volunteer NAC Leads from each Province and Territory to get together to discuss best practices, challenges and triumphs when it comes to promoting Skilled Trades and Technology in Canada and bring this information back to their individual Member Organizations. Volunteer NAC members are a bridge of communication between alumni, the Provinces and Territories and Skills Compétences Canada for alumni programming and engagement. As a working group, the NAC provides advice to the SCC Operations Committee on how to engage, elevate and encourage Canada’s youth in exploring Skilled Trades and Technology careers.
The NAC members will help promote trades and technologies in Canada while following the national rules and regulations outlined in the Code of Ethics of Skills Compétences Canada.
